Organising Committee

The "150 Years in Dimboola" Committee is coordinating the program of activities and events taking place in Dimboola this 30th
October 2009 - 3rd November 2009 (Melbourne Cup weekend) to mark a number of important Dimboola anniversaries.
The committee has developed a core program of activities in association with a number of local community groups and additional
events have been added by other interested organisations. The committee anticipates that the celebrations will be a positive social
and economic time for the community, with many former residents and interested people returning to Dimboola and visiting the
town for the duration of the event.

Our Mission

	to encourage local groups and organisations within the Dimboola township and district to conduct events during the period of the anniversary;
	to co-ordinate a program of events;
	to promote the program of events as widely as possible; and
	to make the celebrations a great success and give the town, which has been hit hard by the continuing drought, a positive boost.
